Product Review: Seagate FreeAgent Go External Drives

Hello IN[FOCUS] Readers:
Have you been looking for a great external drive that is easy to transport? I have found the perfect drive. Watch the video (by clicking on the still frame below) to see why we have chosen the Seagate FreeAgent Go Drive for our business.
*It is small and easy to transport.
*Comes in 250GB, 320GB or 500GB
*Uses the power from the computer so you don’t have another cord to plug in.
*Gives flexibility to where you can do your editing. (home, on the road, at your childs practice…)
*Great for Same Day Edits (SDE).
We originally purchased this drive for our SDE’s because we don’t always have a place with multiple power outlets and the larger drives we use are heavy and kind of clumsy. As soon as I saw the commercial for it I was online trying to find out more information (price & capacity). I found it at Fye’s Electronics and John went and purchased it the next day. I think we paid $170. for the 320GB.
We loved it so much I ordered a second drive just for our rough cut editor, who is a student at IU Bloomington and thought it would be a better way to get the footage to him. This time I ordered directly from Seagate and received free shipping. I only paid $150.
When our kids are out of school, I don’t like spending all day at the studio. I love that I can grab it easily and go. When editing at home, I can sit in my favorite chair and edit or go outside on the back patio.
I highly recommend investing in the FreeAgent Go drive. It has helped our business be more productive.
