Bridal Blogs, 3/3 from IN[FOCUS] on Vimeo.
To notify vendors of the latest happenings, I use Constant Contact’s newsletter system, and it works well enough for me – it’s not drag-and-drop easy, but it gets the job done.
At 1:50 in the video above, I talk about how getting featured on a bridal blog helps not only you, but other videographers in other markets. Just last week, Mike Novelli of Rising Moon Productions in Denver reported that one of his brides told him:
I wasn’t even planning on hiring a cinematographer for my wedding, figuring they were all cheesy and boring, until I saw a short wedding film by Mason Jar Films on Style Me Pretty, which inspired me to try to fit a wedding film into our budget.
Even if you’re not currently featured on any bridal blogs, please support your fellow event videographers who are. Spread the word to the bridal community about the amazing work being produced by paying regular visits to Wedding Bee Pro and leaving comments in the posts by pro-filmmaker-bloggers William Gaff, Patrick Moreau, and Joe Simon (all of whom are IN[FOCUS] 2010 presenters).
***Update – Since typing this post, a number of video studios have been featured on the bridal blogs. Click on their names below and leave them some comments please!
